Vietnamese doctors conduct free eye surgery on Cambodians
HCM City, Mar. 17 (VNA) - Vietnamese doctors have conducted free eye surgery on 276 blind people in Kampot province of Cambodia.
The surgery, funded by the Association for Poor Patients in the southern Kien Giang province with each operation cost 600,000 VND (about 40 USD), is part of a healthcare cooperation agreement between the two provinces.

Besides free surgery, the Cambodian cataract sufferers received gifts, each worth 120,000 VND, from Ho Chi Minh City-based Giac Nguyen Pagoda.
This is the fourth time the Association offered free eye surgery on poor Cambodian patients who have numbered 800 to date.-Enditem
